Vibe: Blues, Rock N Roll
Why you should see him: One of the premier Blues shredders out there. He’s been on the Experience Hendrix tour and is known to cover AC/DC, Zepplin, Hendrix.

Dumpstaphunk

Saturday, 9/23 Pourhouse
Vibe: Funk/Soul
Why you should see them: This NOLA band is from the bloodlines of the Neville Brothers and are regulars at Jazzfest.

Naughty Professor

Thursday, 9/28 Pourhouse
Vibe: Jazz/Funk
Why you should see them: They’ve collaborated with The Revivalists, Chali 2na, and George Porter Jr to give you an idea of this New Orleans band’s quality and upbeat funk. I saw them open for Moon Taxi and was not disappointed.

Thursday, 9/28 Charleston Music Hall
Vibe: Psychedelic rock n’ roll band from California.
Why you should see them: This former Black Crowes lead singer always brings a good show.
